Turbo Compressor Oil 46 is a high performance rust and oxidation inhibited lubricant specially designed for the lubrication of turbo compressors in ammonia compression systems.
APPLICATIONS
- Combined lubrication systems of turbine-driven rotary compressors pressurising ammonia or syngas for ammonia production, including turbine bearings, speed increasers, flexible couplings and oil seals
- Other ammonia plant applications where turbine oils are specified, such as in the compression of air, carbon dioxide or nitrogen
- Steam turbines operating under a wide range of service conditions
- Industrial gas turbines operating under moderate service conditions where the oil is not exposed to excessively high temperatures
- Not recommended for use in breathing air compressors
